He's still out there... Our contractor on T.V.

I'm posting this link to a story that the news ran in Jan at a local Shaws around the time of the salmonella scare in peanutbutter. The guy being interviewed here is the contractor who walked out on us and caused all the damage I posted earlier.

peanut scare

He's the guy who'd caused me headache after headache and tens of thousands of dollars trying to put my life and my condo back together. I can't believe this guy is still out on the street, probably doing the same thing to other people. Be warned. Don't let him in your house.

His name is Thomas Keohane, he lives in Saugus, MA. He was operating under Carpentry Works. His BBB rating is crap under that company name but he still holds a license in MA for Home Improvement, Construction Supervisor and Real Estate Broker. Unfortunately a loophole in the law protects his license. If I find he's operating under another name. I'll post it.

I have been unfortunate enough to have hired him for a job that was supposed to take two weeks it's now been six and not even half done. Most of his work is done like some hoodrat is swinging a hammer trying to hit anail. He can't install a window he can't install a door he doesn't know how to repair walls he's an absolute nightmare on two legs. He actually had the audacity to want $400 a day he's not worth $40 he framed the window with the wrong dimensions and his excuse was he thought it was a different type of window when the window was sitting right there on the job all he had to do was look at it and get the dimensions to do a right job he couldn't even do that right. This man must seriously have brain damage and I am not joking when I say that he should have his license taken away and be put in jail for what he has done not only on my job but countless others. He's a walking Horror Show. Take this as a warning to anybody considering hiring this Walking Disaster

Had a horrendous experience with this guy, ended up costing me over $10k in damages to my property. Referred to the State for action - avoid this clown at all costs!
